Travelling to Limoux is very straight forward and there are many options from which to choose.
Ryanair and Hertz as partners, have inexpensive flights to Carcassonne together with great deals on car rentals. Ryanair flies from London-Stansted, Bournemouth, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Dublin and Shannon airports. Ryanair also intend to operate sevices out of Leeds/ Bradford from 28th March 2010.
As an alternative there are Ryanair flights from Stansted, Birmingham and Bristol, to Perpignan which is about 1 1/2 hours away
Easyjet ,as an alternative has inexpensive flights to Toulouse (1 1/4 hours from Limoux)
from London Gatwick and Bristol.
While a car is highly recommended whilst in France you can if you wish get to the house from Carcassonne (Salvaza) airport and by hopping on a shuttle bus which will take you to the SNCF train station for the 20 minute train trip into Limoux.
